One Liners

Click for more one liners
So, I have been watching this link-up for a while, but never participated. I was dead set on contributing last week, but when I sat to write about "The Fight," it all got a little too personal. In other words, I chickened out....

But, I am redeeming myself this week with the "A Great One Liner" prompt.

My one liner:

"I'm at the point where if you give me a box big enough, I'll live in it."

Short, simple, explains my feelings exactly.

  1. You did a great job. Simple, expressive, and path ways to go many places story wise. Awesome

  4. This is really good Nikki and as others have said, a perfect starting point for a continuation if you decide you want to do that.

I'd love to know what prompted it.

  7. For such a short and simple sentence this had a lot of impact with me. My mind wanders of all the possibilities this sentence could lead to. Great job!

  8. Summing up a feeling very well - desperation, exasperation and acceptance!

  10. @Sarah Mac My recent homelessness (now remedied by finding a home) prompted this little line. Thanks for the comment.

  13. This was really well done, you got the brief and delivered a short powerful sentence! I am pleased you decided to join in with us. You can always re-do The Fight exercise at a later date, it was a good one (though it was a little scary). I hope you enjoyed the exercise and will be back for more next week

  14. Simple, well put. This is a great example of a sentence that makes its point plainly. I think a lot of people get tangled up in words that don't fit. You've done a great job of just saying what you mean.
Hope you enjoyed WoW. Hope to see you again soon.
